Brand Spotlight: Birchrose + Co. – Gingerly Witty

Brand Spotlight: Birchrose + Co.

brand spotlight birchrose co. gingerly witty

As the sole buyer for Gingerly Witty, I have the pleasure of learning about new and established brands. I'm often asked how I source my product. This process mostly involves scouring the internet and Instagram for ethically produced apparel, beauty, and homeware brands. I look for a modern, yet cultured aesthetic reminiscent of classic California casual, yet collected style. This often includes a liking toward streamlined looks and clean, minimal design. So it was no surprise that Birchrose + Co's product design and packaging is what immediately caught my eye. I was obviously very excited to learn that their mission closely aligned to that of Gingerly Witty.

Birchrose + Co. is an green beauty product line. With birch being its inspiration, adaptability and inner beauty is key to the brand. Birchrose + Co.'s mission is simple, stemming from founder Beckah's "desire and passion to create effective truly natural products with recognizable ingredients that still appealed to Beckah's admiration for all things minimal and chic." Plus, who else can you trust more in delivering something truly Californian other than a fellow California girl?

After receiving products to sample, such as the awesome detox clay mask, I fell in love with Birchrose's wide variety of natural + cruelty free, artisan products. They not only achieve tangible results, they encourage you to design your elevated beauty ritual and make the luxury spa experience accessible in your own space!

Below is some more info about the Birchrose + Co. products we carry in the store.

And second, the oil  and balm work to stimulate growth and shape, respectively. Plus, the packaging is minimal and masculine, so you won't be shy about your grooming products being too girly girl!

One of the samples I received from Birchrose was their body wash. I fell in love with the soothing scent and aromatic properties and I think you will too!

First of all, just how gorgeous is this product? I feel extra pretty after using it just because of how it looks! Plus, it works in  using carrier oils in restoring organic essential oils, providing nourishment & renewal and softening while brightening the skin.

Travel: Stories Books & Café + Around Echo Park

Gingerly Witty Travel Los Angeles Echo Park LA style fashion

Last Sunday, I had the honor of shooting with Annie Moses (@anniewmphoto) and Kimmy Shields at Stories Books & Café.

Stories is a favorite LA haunt of mine and it just so happens that it's right next door to our shop! Apart from being a local and independently run bookstore, the space doubles as a café, which includes a backyard patio. The menu is distinctly Californian fare, from their classic take on avocado toast with eggs, hummus platter, and...

Personal Style: Embroidery, a Jumpsuit, AND a Bandana

Gingerly Witty Personal Style: Embroidery, a Jumpsuit, AND a Bandana

The other day, Annie and I went out to grab some photos out and about in Echo Park. I wanted something casual, yet unique so I grabbed these LACAUSA overalls/jumpsuit, an embroidered tank and a white bandana to top off the look.

I love going out and simply taking photos with Annie. Not only is she super talented, but she's easy to work with and feel comfortable around even when you're not an expert model, which is...

Personal Style: Nothing Abstract About It

Abstract art is one of the hottest runway fashion inspirations. From Kadinski to Pollock, abstract prints have been "in" for quite some time. Our favorite abstract print? The one on our Anja Dress by Amanda Moss.

However, you might be thinking, "Erin, abstract art is cool and all. But wearing it? Forgeddaboutit!" Below are some examples of how to rock that abstract art through your clothes, whether your aim...
