Here, There, and Everywhere: Autocamp – Gingerly Witty

Here, There, and Everywhere: Autocamp

Here There Everywhere Gingerly Witty Autocamp

For today's Here, There & Everywhere, we're off to the woods! The Redwood Forest, to be exact. Located on the Russian River just north of San Francisco, Autocamp features luxury Airstream trailers and tents that have all of the top design and qualities that give it that "glamping" (glamour-camping) experience.

Last year, I had the luxury of staying in the Autocamp in Santa Barbara and boy was it a special experience. All the amenities (hello spa-like tub!) to make it a comfortable experience, leaving you to just fully enjoy your surroundings. Plus, with each Airstream designed by Geremia Design, every trailer has a Mad Man-esque vibe to it. Plus, it takes camping to a whole other level. All the Aistreams are outfitted with a Casper mattress, Coyuchi bedding, and Malin + Goetz bath products. Not to mention, a comfy plush robe to get cozy with while sipping a glass of wine or reading a book (we suggest this one).

Yet unlike Santa Barbara's location, the Redwood Forest location also has  a main club house by Anacapa Architecture with an indoor and outdoor fireplace, a bar, and wifi throughout the property (so yes, you can disconnect but if you just have to reach for your phone to check your email, you’ll be able to have access to the internet). You can even rent bikes, go canoeing or roast some marshmallows. Even for one of the most reluctant campers like myself, Autocamp is an undeniably memorable experience.

And keeping with the simple nature of this camping excursion, and considering it's no really camping-camping, I picked an outfit that was cute and fitting of the environment. I set out to create an outfit wherein comfort was key, but style was classic. First, I was immediately drawn to the 3/4 sleeve raglan striped tee because it screams essential vacation top to me. Then, I paired it with some Levi's 501s to add some vintage flair to the look. I then added the fleece turtleneck by Esby because it's nice and warm -- perfect for those chilly camping nights by the fire! I included the old fashioned cocktail kit so you and your S.O. or friend can enjoy a little fun inside your trailer. I then topped everything off with a bucket bag and spirit animal perfume fitting for the surrounding forests. And there you go! Outfit complete!

Travel: Stories Books & Café + Around Echo Park

Gingerly Witty Travel Los Angeles Echo Park LA style fashion

Last Sunday, I had the honor of shooting with Annie Moses (@anniewmphoto) and Kimmy Shields at Stories Books & Café.

Stories is a favorite LA haunt of mine and it just so happens that it's right next door to our shop! Apart from being a local and independently run bookstore, the space doubles as a café, which includes a backyard patio. The menu is distinctly Californian fare, from their classic take on avocado toast with eggs, hummus platter, and...

Personal Style: Embroidery, a Jumpsuit, AND a Bandana

Gingerly Witty Personal Style: Embroidery, a Jumpsuit, AND a Bandana

The other day, Annie and I went out to grab some photos out and about in Echo Park. I wanted something casual, yet unique so I grabbed these LACAUSA overalls/jumpsuit, an embroidered tank and a white bandana to top off the look.

I love going out and simply taking photos with Annie. Not only is she super talented, but she's easy to work with and feel comfortable around even when you're not an expert model, which is...

Personal Style: Nothing Abstract About It

Abstract art is one of the hottest runway fashion inspirations. From Kadinski to Pollock, abstract prints have been "in" for quite some time. Our favorite abstract print? The one on our Anja Dress by Amanda Moss.
